Really wish there were QTs here. Yes, bad actors sometimes use them to dunk, but more often they are a way to expand on a topic without derailing the original thread. Threads and Bsky have done something clever: allowing QTs, but you can't see them unless you happen to follow the QT-er. So the reach of a dunk-post is dramatically reduced.
