I'm not going to go through all of the replies because I'm sure most of them are asinine, but, my personal carry is a Ruger LC9, .9 mm. It's compact and not hard to use.
Kajoozie Maflingo (npub1xsw…p4xw) and I are actually going to be looking for a gun for my 21 year old, waifish daughter to tote and be able to use if need be.
