Doesn’t really bother me. It’s voluntary data sharing for various convenience and safety features. I can check in on my kid or dog remotely or lock/unlock doors for them. When the airbags go off, 911 is called, etc. Everyone gives up a certain amount of privacy whenever they leave their home. Just have to gain it back other ways.
That government mandated remote kill switch law is fucked up though. Supposed to start next year.
