As we are now in March and #StPatricksDay is approaching, seems to be a good time to remind America that corned beef and cabbage is not an Irish dish. If you want to cook something more authentic, try back bacon and cabbage because Irish American immigrants only turned to corned beef after they reached America because they struggled to find proper bacon. Corned beef here is a highly processed meat product than comes in a tin and is used on sandwiches with HP brown sauce.
We also never drink green beer or wear glittered shamrocks by the way. Oh, and leprechauns are not real #Mastodaoine #Food
