A master of color theory and optical illusion, Anuszkiewicz is by far my favorite of the famous Op Artists. If not already, I suspect there soon will be an air of the antique about these kinds of paintings. They are so easily conjured in infinite permutations by AI, while this was done through experimentation, by hand, in paint.
