While this might look like a simple #woodworking project - a small picture frame - it represents something quite significant for me.

For about six years in the late 80s/early 90s, I owned a custom picture framing shop and art gallery in California. I made all the frames and my wife cut the mats.

You can see my old Mitre Vise in the pic. Glad I kept it, makes the job easy and the corners are spot on.

I used to make 5-10 frames a day, almost an assembly line thing. This little one came out OK.
