Off to take my husband in for another knee surgery. Last year, I thought he had died right in front of me the first night after. He'd fallen, hit his head, wasn't breathing, and I couldn't find a pulse. Turns out a combo of meds had dropped his blood pressure dangerously low. He finally started breathing before the EMTs arrived. Fell again later that night and I caught him, which wasn't easy since he outweighs me by 80 lbs. I'm still traumatized.
