I look up a lot of kitchen appliance specifications while designing kitchen cabinets. There is a website called AJ Madison that has all the appliances and pdfs that show the dimensions and stuff.
The name always reminds me of the Ashley Madison website and all of the people whose stuff was leaked.
If you don’t know Ashley Madison is a website for married people to arrange affairs. They were hacked in 2015 and user data was leaked, exposing the secret lives of many users. What a mess!
Imagine how much better those people would have been if they were on AJ Madison looking for appliances instead!
And even though appliances are insanely priced now - seriously some of these appliances cost tens of thousands of dollars - many would have been better off spending the money in that way instead of on divorce proceedings.
There is something in this whole story about not giving your data to a third party that could be hacked or could be irresponsible with your data.
Or, maybe, something about not cheating on your husband or wife!That’s probably the better message to take away.
