There is a lot of benefit in rolling out code more regularly, people running nightlies are more likely to find certain classes of issues (e.g. platform integration, UI layout issues on smaller screens etc.) - even after review effort.
The main goal of review effort is to essentially OK architectural decisions (with knowledge regarding current implementation and future plans) and catch any major missing assumptions.
