Nobody's suggesting replacing a short explanation with a long one. “ChatGPT produces incorrect answers" is accurate and concise — if the current disclaimer is flawed it’s simply that it's not emphatic enough.
I don't think of the problem with ‘lying' as a linguistic one — it's simply misrepresenting what an LLM does and why it does it. It's a barrier to understanding.
