We could argue that bankers control all govs, and all bankers live off interest from working people, productive even. The more people you got in your geographical, socialist theme-park, the more interest comes in. As a side note, Immigration as a means to further gov ponzis also helps bankers for their ends.
They definately don't want capable sovereign individuals, granted.
