Spring leftover: My first and – so far – only good shot of a Eurasian blackcap (a very common species, but small birds are tricky to photograph).

As this one's a female, it's more of a browncap, I suppose.

Or, if you go by a literal translation of the German common name, a monk grass mosquito! (The "mosquito" part is an example of etymological, uh, convergent evolution.)
