I'm so depressed and stressed about trump. I know the left has lots of problems but I do t understand how people can still support him. He's just stealing from them. He's destroying the fucking US right now. Elon's got his digital hooks into the pensions and stuff and that's it. There's no fucking way we'll ever get them out. There's no way I don't believe he put malware in it, or that he vetted his rats well enough that opportunistic ones didn't put their own mallard code in it too. We can't get that all back. Only hope for the best.
Even some people on Ovarit, which is becoming a right-wing dominated space, just refuse to admit what this presidency is doing. He's obviously psychotic and going to harm them too. Why can't they see that? I guess it's like the cult of gender.
It's all very frightening. And the thing is, I expected this. Those of us who are collapse-aware and understand the poly-crisis and the fact that we are facing a predicament rather than a problem knew it was going to happen. Trump is just a symptom. Getting rid of him won't change the predicament.
I'm trying to focus on the positive. To remember that I am loved by many people who've never even met me. That there are good people everywhere, and that there's good in most people. I'm trying to remember that nothing is under control and it never, ever was, so I might as well relax. That there's still good things and light. And wildness that can't be contained, and that life and goodness and creation reside in that. But I'm feeling this.
