While this is true to a degree (ease of use mostly) IMO cramming AI into everything is not as good an idea as developers currently seem to believe it is.
Not an ideological thing, just a logistical one, since it means the drones have to be a lot more complex and consume a lot more energy than a remote control or spool drone.

I think AI drones will eventually take the mid range spot rather than the disposable kamikaze role.
