My teenage daughter wants to check out #Warhammer. She is especially curious about the miniature painting parts and somewhat worried that the attached game is unfun.

I have no idea about #tabletop, #miniature painting and all this. More of a pen&paper, board and video game guy.

So, dear Warhammer people - any pointers? Ideally some that don’t break the bank? Thanks in advance!

Edit: And 40k is set. Or other sci-fi stuff. Elves and Orks and swords are out. If they don’t have batteries.
