Gonna share a few old Ottoman Turkish astronomical charts/maps with my #Mastodon followers (& non-followers, I guess <3). Enjoy them. They were quite hard to find.

Back in the era when (Ottoman) Turkey was colorful/vibrant, culturally enriched, tolerant & diverse. The Westernization of Turkey wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but that country should've avoided Western-inspired petty ethno-nationalism, which brought nothing but misery to minorities.
