I have personally suffered and witnessed very bad shit - forgive my word - but it's true. I know what some humans are capable of doing. I have witnessed people being beaten, stabbed and almost lost my own life two times. I felt protected with that policeman. You must understand something, or you will understand as you age, people are animals, yeah, complex animals sure, and guided most of the time by primal instincts. That machine gun was there to intimidate yes, but not me, I wasn't doing nothing wrong. That machine guns has a psychological goal, it's a deterrent for the ones that will kill you without breaking a sweat. Please take my word on this, some people are capable of pretty nasty shit.
