yes. we already developed a relay from scratch designed for scale and high load called immortal:

its a little hard to run it since you have to run redis, mongo db, immortal itself and it's manager called kraken. basically suitable for big communities, paid relays and public feeds.
currently running at: wss://jellyfish.land
for now it's free and public. its going to be paid in future. (the jellyfish relay, not immortal.)
its nostr: JellyFish (nprofile…w8yj).
now, we developed this relay called alienos which is designed for self-hosting and personal usage. it have a lot of features built and and it's easy to run and operate. soon we will make ip open source and announce it at Dezh Technologies (nprofile…rvu4).
