So I have been thinking about a social experiment that I am now going to try on Nostr. Since this profile is pretty new even though I have reincarnated here many times for various reasons over the past months. I am pretty much starting over from scratch.
I have been inspired by some Nostr users to see what happens when you decide to go all caps all the time with no exceptions. So for the next 30 days and possibly longer all of my posts will be in all caps. The experiment is to determine the following:
1.) Does going all caps in every post have a positive, negative, or neutral effect on building an audience of followers?
2.) Why does going all caps have an effect on audience engagement rates for your posts?
3.) Will going all caps on every post make the content more memorable, less memorable, or become incoherent over time?
I will write a scientific research paper on my findings at the end of this Nostr social experiment. Just in case anyone is interested. I am doing this out of mild curiosity. As well as for the shits and giggles out of pure boredom.
Let's see what happens...
