The NVMe in my desktop failed the day before yesterday. I don’t back up my desktop because the only thing I use it for is searching the internet, and listening to / making media. I’ve done lots of spinning disk data recovery (praised be Dmitry Postrigan & MHDD), but this is the first time I’ve had an SSD die somewhat slowly, like how HDDs tend to (w/ read errors with data that you can still get off with enough passes/ECC). Most SSDs I’ve had that die just wake up one day and give up on life.
