The gorgeous interior of the Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX. In the 1970s it was closed & badly in need of repairs, and almost was torn down to build a hotel. Due of the vision and efforts of three men, it was instead saved and now is a vital part of the city's arts scene. Many wonderful places we take for granted were once endangered, and preservationists ensured they could be enjoyed for generations to come.
