The Agency for Digital Government in Denmark believes that mobile apps are under the same legislation and must ask users for consent to use “cookie-like technologies” and declare the technologies used.
Their material on this is still extremely vague or non-existent so it’s unknown what this means in practice but there is a chance that mobile apps will need to adopt these prompts.
