Knowledgeable #3DPrinting people: I've learned that for leadscrews, the recommended maximum speed is 12 mm/s or so. How did people arrive at this number? Is there something inherent to 8mm leadscrews that induces this limit, and if so, what is it? I've tried searching for an explanation, but I'm coming up empty.
