@rustycrab@clubcyberia.co As someone with background in it - it's fundamental drawback of organic luminophores, and it's unlikely that we will come up with a workaround, and we are already *really far* in the technology. We can keep coming up with better oxygen scavengers, encapsulation technologies and play with organic backbone, but in the end, the lifetime of such device will always be severely limited. It's "ok" to put it in smartphones, since they are barely lasting two years anyway, but don't expect a desktop display that will last for a decade or so.
