For me, there was a period of reflection with the loss of Elizabeth II... like we had lost the old generation that kept a sense of stability and now we enter into turmoil and change because of what her son represents.

But it is interesting how people mourn or celebrate the death of politicians they love/hate. Especially prime ministers, because they just quickly come and go to me. It's hard for me to wrap my head around that one. There is a sadness around death but I don't think I attach it to a particular political figure.

There are words for this but I am struggling with what they are now.
