Many of us suspected gab is a long term datamining/honeypot operation that was used for the main purpose of understand the semantic dialect of dissidents. Either to pass directly to law enforcement (as they make light dissent illegal) or to train text processing models to quickly identify and categorize people as threats to the state.

They already have a 'portal' to communicate with LE for whatever 'threats' they may have. Idk man, but I REGRET STRONGLY ever using that website. It's caused me nothing but trouble.
