It's pretty freaky that these folks could produce a recording that sounds almost sounds like a real Joe Rogan podcast, by instructing ChatGPT to script a conversation between Joe Rogan and Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI), and running that script through a voice synthesizer trained on recordings of their voices. If I'd thought it was real when I started listening, I have to wonder how long it would have taken me to identify it as an algorithmically-generated fake.
