i was once walking at night on a path between two villages here in total darkness, and i saw a tiny object in the sky moving at a slow speed and stop at some point, then the object got visibly brighter, and then it formed something like a shooting star just not towards earth but away from it and disappeared in a flash. The object was by no means close, from my estimation it must have been outside earths atmosphere. It looked like when starfleet ships go on warpspeed or when in Stargate SG1 ships enter Hyperspace.

I also go Stargazing a lot and saw a couple of hundred shooting stars in my life, and it was not a shooting star. I never saw anything like it again. The weirdest thing about it or why i question my own observation is that it looked soooooo much like something out of a Sci-Fi movie or series, so maybe i saw what i wanted to see and tricked myself, but i saw exactly what i described.
