A friend who I saw at a small(fish) village gathering over the weekend just commented that he found the whole thing rather tiring, because he feels he has a 'depleted social battery'.... which I found very familiar.
My guess is for a lot of us this will be for some time the long shadow of lockdown over our social lives (although equally perhaps for he & I its an age thing too?)
