Well, I did it. I bit the bullet and ordered a greenhouse. It will enclose some raised beds.

I believe that in the not too distant future it will be impossible to grow food during July and August, and maybe a few weeks before and after, due to heat and drought. This way we can start some things earlier, and also grow greens and herbs in the winter.
