It's funny a few times lately I've had people ask me "how much territory of the UK would you give up for peace?" as if that's an argument that has any effect over me.
I'm not a nationalist so I don't really care about temporary nation-states and their temporary ever changing borders.
They seem surprised by this.
The Bolshevik's literally gave up this much territory to Germany and Austria-Hungary for peace.
Why? Because peace was more important than more death and destruction.
