(I'm not a Prusa owner, but every reference I see online for the mk3 specifies 8mm lead.)
A few use T8*4 two-start, 2mm pitch, 2mm lead. Even fewer use T8*2 single-start, 2mm pitch, 2mm lead.
I've used single-start in a couple printers that I entirely or partially designed in order to avoid back-driving the Z axis.
(If you by choice use the normal four-start lead screws, make sure the screws are mechanically synchronized or are separately homed, to avoid racking the Z axis from unequal back-driving.)
