I'm glad I got to do a lot of cool shit as a kid, traveled all over the country to see national parks and stuff, went to theme parks when they were still nice. these were often big affairs with multiple families (aunts/uncles/cousins) coming along, we'd get adjacent campsites and set up a badminton court and everything. really fun

but it has actually resulted in some tension with my siblings because they want to do the same stuff we did as kids, give their kids the same experiences, and it's like sorry sis I can't afford to take a month off to hang out in florida, I'm not making anything like the kind of money our parents made relative to cost of living

and most of the stuff I did as a kid isn't even possible now because hordes of foreigners, niggers, and general population increase has made it a bad experience. if you want a good experience, it's going to be expensive as fuck
