I worked for a vet, whom was grossly overweight, that got a weim pup on a whim (hue) and kept it kenneled at work for most of the day. Dear god, the screaming it did in the kennel.
Sorry to hear about your pup, but it seems clear she lived not only a long life but a happy one too.
