I wish there was more public info about how limiting instances on here works. The official Mastodon documentation doesn't say much about it at all either.
I'd also like to know how and if 'deactivated' accounts that people have moved on from, that point to their new profiles, still show up in searches. Posts (with hashtags) and all. Seems to depend on the server you're on.
