You can get them rolled up into what is essentially a waste water pipe with some string on it. They seal the ends with duct tape and I carrying like 8 large paintings back from VN and Indo a couple of years back as hand luggage even though it was well over 1m tall 🤘worth it as when I restretched them back home, they look amazing
In fact I've shipped them to our new home in the same way in the container
