The reason the available mints are a feasible implementation for the Podcast Index (and other businesses) is there is a Strike backend which allows PI to not be a money transmitter.
It's also a "standard" API so if [RSS.com](http://RSS.com ) for example wanted to offer a mint for their users with their own business Strike account, they could.
There could probably be backends for other exchanges long-term if someone wants to add them.
