Ok, #sewing question again:
I've looked for non-fusible interfacing out of cotton, and found 1) little and 2) expensive.
Rather than spend 12€ on a metre of it when I don't need that much (yet), I wondered: can't I simply use some of the same fabric I would like interfaced?
I've got a cotton fabric here (weave unknown, not stretchy) that I've weighed at 150 g/m². I want to make a shirt collar out of it.
Any reason why I shouldn't cut the pieces you'd usually cut out of the interfacing out of that as well, and process it like sew-in interfacing from there?
