I hope Apple has to allow other browsers.

I hope it does not result in an even more entrenched monoculture.

I suspect Apple will find novel ways to obfuscate the option to install other browsers.

I hope it is by innovating and being less IE6.

I hope all folks who ‘help out’ family/friends by installing a better non-Safari browser do so using Firefox.
