the corporatization of communities is evidence we're heading towards a dystopian future. when I first read the book snow crash I thought the idea of 'franculates' and 'burbclaves' was a crazy idea.

but now I'm more and more seeing that what we have now is like the beta version of that future which is absolutely fucked.
