So, from one perspective, Icelandic politics remain unchanged: we’re mostly a nation of right wing nationalists with a good chunk of libertarians thrown in for good measure with only about a third supporting progressive or anti-establishment policies.
But from another perspective things have transformed completely: the right has splintered. The libertarian, religious, and nationalistic coalition seems to be fraying.
