For those who don't have time for loud mouth flashy punks.
Solar Plexus strike:-
If you want to finish a fight before it's even started, then you need to be able to hit effectively. This isn't flashy in any way, but it's extremely painful and will stop even a big guy right there!
So, what is the solar plexus ?
The solar plexus or celiac plexus is a nerve bundle. Located right under and behind where the bottom of your ribs meet in the middle.
What happens when you hit it ?
When hit by sufficient force (a punch or kick for example), it causes the nerves to fire [activate], sending impulses to nearby organs. The one that is of the most concern is the diaphragm, where the nerve impulses cause it to spasm, or go into contraction. What normally happens during breathing is rhythmic contraction and relaxation from signals from the brain. After being hit, there is a temporary situation where these nerves are overstimulated, causing a hard and steady contraction. When these nerves recover, the diaphragm can relax and normal breathing will resume.
In simple terms it's extremely painful and stops the opponent in their tracks as they won't be able to breathe.
He/she is gonna feel like they’re dying for about 10 seconds give or take depending on how hard you hit. And the fight is over.
