In 1968, the film "2001 a Space Odessey" was released. It was a Sci-Fi film set in the then future. Indeed, 2001 seemed like it was far off. I was in high school in 1968. If 2001 seemed like the stuff of science fiction, then 2023 was time travel stuff. You could say that it is time travel. Those who were around in 1968 traveled through time, albeit the traditional way. We watched time creep forward until in a flash we're here in 2023. In 1968, I had a 1954 Chevrolet Bel air Station Wagon. The car was only 14 years old at the time and it sold for $200. There were no home computers or cell phones. In fact, there was only a rotary phone in the house, a private line though. Imagine a fast forward to today, like the scene from the "Time Machine" where everything transforms, advances before your eyes. Well, it happened.
