24 years ago I visited a #Nintendo focused website called #Tendobox. They had posted a reader submitted story about receiving the #NES game #Metroid for Christmas and how it helped them cope with a changing world around them.
It left quite an impression on me. I have looked for years hoping the story was re-posted elsewhere on the internet but never had any luck.
After a short time the website shut down and the story vanished… until now!
