I help facilitate a trans support group. One of our agreements is to not talk about us doing illegal things. Not because I’m bothered if someone is doing prostitution or because someone who is raped is not forced to carry his fetus to term or because I care if someone buys HRT on the street, because I don’t. I believe in bodily autonomy. But our society does not recognize our right to our own body, and the last thing I want is for our group to become the agent of an oppressive state.
