Spending NYE with the same family friends we always do. Their place is walking distance from ours so no faffing about with cabs etc. Dress code is whatever the hell you want, and the food is always great. I'm still finding it hard to get up any enthusiasm to celebrate the coming year, but it's good to have people around, so I'll pull it together, paste a smile on my face and make the potato leek casserole I inherited as my designated dish.
