This is a good summary of the framing around the Republican Party. Instead of focusing on how bad and extremist the GOP is and how it isn't able to govern, how broken it is, and how it has broken the system, most journalists frame their stories around the idea that it's D job to save them.

That's not the right framing. They ought to be framing it in a way that focuses on how bad the GOP is.

It isn't the Democrats' responsibility to fix the broken Republican Party
