I can not understand how people just throw away bottles when they are 10 cents each at the return. on recycling bin day in town you know who the serious alcoholics are, you hear nothing but cans and glass bottles, an entire bin full, about $20 worth of stubbies/cans, less if they drink tallies. I use every bit of willpower I can not to switch the bins overnight and return their bottles down the street.
I can usually find $3-5 worth of plastic bottles down the creek when I'm walking my dog.
it all adds up and I like removing trash from the creek.
