The British Parliament is not the US Senate. There is no such thing as a "super majority" in Parliament. Everything can pass with a majority vote.

The US Senate needs 2/3rds or even 3/4ths to pass certain things so there is a concept of super majority in that institution.

This weird thing of importing US political terminology into other countries needs a little more critical thinking.
