Also the plant medicine—I sprouted, grew, harvested, dried, trimmed, extracted and prepared the gummies with the resins provided by plants grown in living soil & sun right here on the land that sustains me and that feels pretty fucking special.
This holiday is stupid and I have lots of familial trauma around it so it’s a tricky time but this one in particular feels really nice being in a place that holds and nourishes me so well with people that make me feel safe and seen. This land may be mine in title but it was also stolen by bullshit treaties. I’m thankful for those who stewarded these lands before me and I hope I can honor them with my actions.
